Did you know Spongebob was originally planned to be a gay porn show? Which may explain some of the crude humor in it today.

(but yes, the old episodes were boss)

_{I used to go on an SB forum (just as a casual fan of the older seasons) awhile back and most of sponge members were saying that season 8 was better than season 1&2 and now almost season 3 quality. I was fine with that, it is their opinion after all. But then they started to pester me and a few other people and tried to convince us that season 8 was better and also got mad at me when I left because they wouldn't accept any other opinions than "OMG SEASON 8&9 ARE TOTALLLY DA BESSST CMON WATCH IT NOOOOW" or "THE NEWER SEASONS ARE GREATTT SB IS COMINGGG BACK AND IT'S BETTA THAN DA OLD SEASONS!!!!".

Yeaaaah....no.}

They just need to stop making sponegbob
I love the old ones, the new ones are just, shameful and disgusting

I hate how Mr. Krabs, Patrick, Pearl acts, there just annoying
and the background towns people are soooo annoying to watch

the newer episode make me just depressed
i wish we can go back to the olden day when Spongebob was amazing
Patrick was actually kind of smart
Mr. Krabs was caring but still had a strong love for money
Pearl she was an enjoyable character

Pearl= Witch ( I don't say bad words)
Mr. Krabs= Selfish and a jerk
Patrick= ANNOYING

Everytime i see the newer episodes, i change the channel, i just cant watch it
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were the best

I'll still love Spongebob from 1999-2004
i am a Spongebob fan, but this is depressing

just wanted to get my opinion out there

Absolutely. They had creative songs (Campfire Song for the win!) and the characters were not complete imbeciles like they are now. I wish they'd let the classic Spongebob return.

I liked it until after the 3rd season. The episodes on season 4 were either hit or miss for me. When season 5 hit, that was when I realized Spongebob was getting worse and worse by the second. I only watch it now when there's nothing else on (and there usually isn't...)
